Environmental Warden Scheme

South Somerset District Council operate a scheme known as Environmental Warden Scheme.  The person nominated by the Parish Council as the Parish Environmental Warden is the Clerk:

The Parish Environmental Warden is given a Hotline Number for Environmental Enforcement Officers to pass on information which will alert them to environmental problems such as:

1. Abandoned vehicles

2. Dead animals on paths/roads

3. Dog fouling

4. Dangerous/stray dogs

5. Fly-posting

6. Fly-tipping

7. Graffiti

8. Litter bins

9. Street-cleaning

Reporting Online

If you prefer you can use the SSDC SSDC Online Reporting Facilility. This facility allows you to report problems that you may have seen in your area such as listed above.
